New Year's Egg Nog, Ayana style!


In a large container, put in about 1/2 liter (or more) of cold milk. Also, add about 1/2 container of whipping cream. Add ingredients such as: honey, 2 eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, coffee liguor, brandy, vanilla and/or almond extract. Mix very well together using a whisk or an electric blender. Next, chill in the refrigerator. Then pour into serving glasses. Top with whipped cream. It's a little fattining, but it has vitamin D!


Unusual Udon
ingredients
udon, cabbage, shrimp, shrimp dumplings, mushrooms, carrots, omochi
The soup base is udon dashi, cooking sake, a little yuzu ponzu.
First boil water in a large pot and put in the seasonings. Next put in sliced onions, and carrots. After they have cooked for awhile, put in the udon, then the omochi. After that, the shrimp and shrimp dumplings can be out in frozen-do not overcook it! Finally, add the cut cabbage. Then serve.



Super Soup!
Slice the onions and tokyo negi and put them in the broth. Also add the cubed, yaki-dofu, kamaboko(fish paste), enoki(hackberry), egg(when the broth is boiling), thinly-sliced pork, and yuzu(citron) peel for fragrance. Fill a large pot about half-way full of water and turn the gas on high. Put in one pack of kombu katsuo soup stock and a pack of udon soup stock. Also put in some cooking sake and yuzu ponzu(citron-flavored soy sauce). Put in ito konnyaku. Also, add sliced/shredded chinese Cabbage-Do not overboil! Separate the mixture into bowls and put chopped green onion on top.

COLORFUL AND HEALTHY


INGREDIENTS

*TAMANEGI (ONION)

*TOKYO NEGI (LARGE, LONG GREEN ONION)

*MOMEN DOFU (FIRM TOFU)

*KINOKO (MUSHROOMS)

*DICED TOMATOES (CANNED OR FRESH)

*MINCED CHICKEN BALLS

*BLACK OLIVES

*VEGETABLES (SUCH AS BROCOLLI, CALIFLOWER, GREEN PEPPERS)

*CHEESE


In a large fry pan, sautee the onion in a little oil(olive or sesame). Add a little water, then the chicken balls and blocks of tofu, f0llowed by the other ingredients (cheese is the last, on top) cook slowly on medium heat, cover for a short while and do not over cook so the vegetable colors will be bright. Turn off the heat, divide into serving dishes. Serve it hot!

Healthy Pasta!

Ingredients
thick, flat udon(noodles), cheese(white or yellow), mushrooms(shimeji), onion(tamanegi), meatballs(chicken and vegetable), frozen vegetables(corn, carrots, peas), brocolli

Use a large fry pan, cut and slice the onion and sautee in olive, sesame or another oil. Add some water and 1 pack of udon seasoning(dashi) and ponzu. Add udon, mushrooms, brocolli(cut), and frozen vegetables and mix well and cover on medium heat. When the above materials are completely heated, lay 4-5 slices of cheese on top-then mix in!

Soup Pasta with Vegetables
Ingredients:Chopped Potato, Onion, Carrots, Okra and/or Green Peas, Minced Chicken Shaped into Meatballs, Spaghetti
Boil the Above!
Sause: 1 Can of White Sause into the Pot you Boiled the Vegetables and Chicken in. Add lots of Milk, Seasonings such as 1 Package of Udon "Dashi," Salt (to Taste), a little Ponzu (a kind of Soy Sause)

Fruit Yogurt with Chocolate Cornflakes

You need only one banana, one kaki(persimmom) and one mikan(tangerine). First, cut each of them into sizes which you want. Next, put yogurt on it and just decorate it with a handful of chocolate cornflakes. It is so delisious! You can add any kind of fruit to it or you can sweeten it with honey. You can eat this any time! For breakfast, during the noon time or at night. If you are hungry between meals, don't eat snacks!
